11/3 – Talent Show @ BCM/FI building
(Thursday Night @ 8pm, our yearly talent show to raise money for overseas projects)

11/19 – Thanksgiving Bonfire @ Jakes
(We will have a thanksgiving “pot luck” at Jakes house complete with a bonfire! bring a traditional dish from your own country and join us as we celebrate this American Holiday/Tradition as a group, international style! It is on Saturday the 19th, more info to come soon!)

11/19 – USF vs. Miami Game/Tailgate
(Before our bonfire at Jakes there is a group going to the USF vs. Miami game to tailgate. the game is at noon and the tailgate will be around 9AM)

11/24 – Thanksgiving day
(We have many families who want to invite you to their home for Thanksgiving day. Would you like to go to an American home for Thanksgiving? Just fill out the Application for our “Friendship Partner” program & we will connect you with an American Family for the Thanksgiving Holiday! CLICK THE LINK TO Apply

12/1 – USF VS. West Virginia Game/Tailgate

12/9 – Friends of Internationals Christmas Party
(Our yearly Christmas Party where we get a special visit from the jolly old fat guy in the red suit. Come join us at the end of exam week to relax, get some gifts and free food!)

12/10-12/12 – Christmas trip to FSU.
(3 day trip to the state capital. We will join the FSU “Friends of Internatioanls” group for a Christmas party, tours of the capital, and other special events. More info coming soon)

Paintball

Friends of Internationals will be going to Genesis Paintball for a day of fun.

Date: Saturday, January 29, 2011

Time: 9am to 4pm

Where: Click Genesis Paintball to find out more.

Meeting Place: F.I. Building. Click MAP for directions

Cost: $30 per person, includes transportation, food, gun rental, equipment, and paint balls.

Bring an extra $10 if you want to buy extra paint.

Must sign up by Friday, January 21 to reserve your spot. Go to the F.I. building(MAP link above) and pay Kylie with $30 CASH.

We will be meeting at the F.I. Building at 9am and carpooling from there to Genesis Paintball. There we will be spending the day shooting paintball and playing cornhole(a mystery game). We will also be having a grill out of chicken sandwiches, chips, and soda. Expected return time back to campus is 4pm.

New (and returning) Student Celebration:
